Welcome to KRK Ranch.
We are located in beautiful Central Oregon just east of Fort Rock.
We train horses from starting young horses under saddle to finishing and showing cutting horses.
We have a combined experience training horses of over 70 years and range from pleasure and trail horses to Futurity winning Cutting horses.
We love to train horses and treat each horse as if it were our own.
We train each horse at its own pace not forcing them to do something they are not ready to do, however we do not allow a horse to push us around either. All our horses have great ground manners and will stand tied for extended periods of time without pulling or complaining.
Our facility includes an 80’ x 144’ indoor arena, 60’ round pen, 160’ round pen, 7 acres of sand dunes, and lots of outside ridding including adjacent BLM land.
All stall have large paddocks. Horses are turned out in large areas on their days off.
Our motto is “Firm but Fair” we use proven methods that produce a happy willing partner with manners and a desire to please.
Our horses are never abused or treated unfairly.
Our experience includes showing in Western pleasure, Trail, Fit and Show, and Cutting horses in all levels of Cutting.
Specializing in Limited Aged Events in cutting. We have trained and shown Futurity Champion, Reserve Champion and Finalists in cutting events. We have had multiple year end Champion and Reserve Champions in many classes and although cutting is our specialty we are great with all horses giving them a well rounded and balanced education.
